Silica to distribute Silego’s CMICs

Silego’s portfolio includes Configurable Mixed-signal ICs (CMICs), in which non-volatile memory is used to configure and integrate devices with analogue, digital logic and power functions. This, says the company, enables design engineers to reduce the power, cost and size of products, as well as time to market.

“CMICs are an important technology that can mean the functional replacement of many other devices leading to smaller footprint in board real estate and a lower bill of materials, as well as enabling engineers to develop their own customised mixed-signal solutions,” said Laurence Dellicott, Avnet Silica’s technical marketing director. “We are delighted to add these Silego products to our portfolio as an additional system building block that we can offer to key European customers.”
