DuPont is opening its Association of Southeast Asian Nations headquarters in Singapore.
Wilmington, Delaware-based DuPont announced the opening in a statement Thursday. Senior Vice President and Chief Science and Technology Officer Douglas Muzyka and Singapore Economic Development Board Managing Director Yeoh Keat Chuan opened the office and technology center. DuPont says it is an increasingly important economic region for the company.
The 118,000 square-foot headquarters will house the administrative offices of DuPont businesses in agriculture and nutrition, bio-based industrials and advanced materials, as well as nutrition and health laboratories.
Muzyka says putting business leaders with scientists and engineers in the same location will allow the company to "deliver solutions" faster for the region and the world.
