SAN FRANCISCO—Chip vendor Integrated Silicon Solution Inc (ISSI) said Tuesday (March 20) that it signed an agreement to license static random access memory (SRAM) technology from IBM Corp. Specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
ISSI, a high-volume supplier of SRAM for more than 20 years, offers a line of asynchronous and synchronous SRAM products with densities from 64 Kb to 72 Mb.
"We continue to invest heavily in new SRAM designs and we will launch multiple new products in the coming years," said Pat Lasserre, director of strategic marketing at ISSI, in a statement.
