Chuck Evans, vice president of sales for video products, noted: “The variety of digital interfaces supported, along with the instrument’s feature set, make it an invaluable test tool for engineers in R&D labs and professional A/V integrators in the field.”
The 780E is said to have the broadest feature set available in a portable instrument. With the ability to test video, audio, protocols and auxiliary channels, the instrument can run quick verification tests on devices, as well as video distribution networks.
Both DisplayPort interfaces support link rates up to 5.4Gbit/s on 1, 2 or 4 lanes, while the 600MHz HDMI interfaces support HDCP 2.2 authentication.
