32bit MCU family ‘bridges’ between existing ranges

For applications where low power and longer battery life are important design constraints, the PIC32MM offers sleep modes with current flow as low as 500nA. Meanwhile, space constrained designs will be suited to the 4 x 4mm package option. Amongst the core independent peripherals are configurable logic cells and multiple output capture compare PWMs, which help enable sensorless BLDC motor control applications.

The PIC32MM family is in mass production and available in 20pin QFN and SSOP; 28pin µQFN, QFN, SOIC, SSOP, SPDIP; 36pin QFN; and 40pin uQFN packages. Designers can also select parts with 16kbyte, 32kbyte and 64kbyte of flash.
