Zener diode is a PN junction silicon semiconductor diode manufactured by a special process. Due to different manufacturing processes, when it is in a reverse breakdown state, the PN junction will not be damaged. If the current changes within a certain range, the voltage stabilization value is almost unchanged.
SML4738 to SML4764A are the series of Zener Diodes from Vishay. Featuring DO-214 package, they are designed for surface mounted applications. Plastic package has underwriters laboratory flammability classification 94 V-0. Zener Diodes is a very useful type of diodes.
