LONDON – I have always been as interested in the smaller companies that are starting out on their journeys as I am in the semiconductor industry majors. As consolidation takes place at the top of the industry there has always been a constant flow of nimble startup companies being formed at the bottom eager to become the stars of the future.
Not all can make it of course but it is interesting to chart some companies' progress. Which is why I thought it would be interesting to list the most-viewed startup related articles from 2012.
I have omitted a couple of stories,

EE Times' Silicon 60: Hot startups to watch, which are themselves lists and the result is the following "top 10" articles, presented in reverse order from #10 to #1 based on the number of times they were viewed in 2012.
