ON Semi's CEO resigns

SAN FRANCISCO—ON Semiconductor Corp. said Thursday (Aug. 2) that Chief Financial Officer Donald Colvin will resign after the company identifies a replacement.

ON Semi (Phoenix) said Colvin and the company "mutually agreed" to his resignation as an officer of the company. Colvin will remain CFO for up to 90 days while ON Semi conducts a search for a new CFO, the company said.

A search for Colvin's replacement has been launched by the company's board of directors and is currently in process, ON Semi said.

Keith Jackson, ON Semi's CEO, thanked Colvin through a statement for years of service to the company.

"He has guided our finance department through years of growth and a number of significant acquisitions as the company has transformed into a world-class global supplier of semiconductor products and solutions," Jackson said. "We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
